"WWII Russian M44 Bolt Action Carbine by Izhevsk Arsenal 7.62x54R (L2026-09536)
Description:
"Serial no. 19569. Manufactured in 1944 by Izhevsk Arsenal, chambered in 7.62x54R, 20.5"" round barrel. Bore is bright with light frosting present in the grooves, while the rifling remains strong and well defined. Serial numbers are matching, with the floorplate force matched during arsenal refurbishment. The left side of the receiver bears an import mark. The carbine remains in overall very good condition with honest military finish and appearance. Introduced during World War II, the M44 featured the permanently attached folding bayonet and became the Soviet Union's standard Mosin-Nagant carbine during the closing stages of the war. Action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
