Classic, original, and all-matching G-43 German WWII military rifle made by Berlin-Lubecker in 1944 with correct G-43 marked magazine and proper sling, an infamous rifle often referenced as "Hitler's Garand."
Description:
This WWII G-43 rifle made by Berlin-Lubecker in 1944 has a barrel with muzzle nut, a serrated ramp front sight, and tangent rear sight graduated 1-12. It has a late war cast receiver with dual bolt guides, the left side of the receiver marked "G.43/duv 44/Eagle 214/Waffenamt/8603a". The matching bolt carrier is the late war version with the reinforcingbehind the front edge. The cocking knob is on the left side with bolt hold open latch on the right side. The electropenciled-matching dust cover is the late, stamped type. This rifle still has the scope base on the right side of the receiver. The matching, laminated stock with cupped trapdoor buttplate is waffenamt "WaA214" on the pistol grip and repeated in a much larger format on the right side of the butt. Complete with one original WWII "G43" magazine coded "aye" with a single WaA843 acceptance and correct unmarked sling.
Condition:
VG+ original blued/painted original finish. Comparable condition laminated stock, with oil darkening and a scattering of handling marks, the most prominent on the right side of the handguard. VG magazine. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics. A very nice, all original and all-matching G-43 rifle as made by Berlin-Lubecker in 1944 for the German Army in WWII.
