Canadian No. 4 Mk. I* Rifle
Description: Serial #91L7200, .303 British, 25" barrel with an excellent, bright, six-groove bore. This Long Branch-made, 1950 dated rifle has retained about 97% plus of the original blue finish with some mild silvering and fading at the muzzle and along the exposed edges and high points. The matching numbered bolt has a similar amount of blue still present with some streaks of gray along the body and some fading on the handle and safety lug. A sheet metal CMk. 3 adjustable rear sight is fitted and there is a small unobtrusive import stamp on the underside of the muzzle. The walnut stock and furniture are in fine condition with several minor handling marks and small surface blemishes throughout marring the otherwise fine original military oil finish. A single unnumbered magazine is included which is in commensurate condition. This is a handsome, Canadian-made rifle and rates very good-near fine condition overall. {Ref.
