Description:
The French rifles were known for slow, incremental, changes in the manufacture of weapons. This "G-series" rifle was built during the 1958 - 60 time period. It has good wood, good metal, and an adequate bore. The safety on these rifles is located at the front of the trigger guard and rotates rearward to hang down by the trigger. The cartridge these use is ballistically similar to the .30-06, and is still manufactured by Privi. The rifles themselves look a little unusual, but with there shortish length and lighter weight, would have been better than many others for humping hills. 7.5 French
