Description:
With a 12.17x44mm RF caliber, and a  36 1/2” barrel with an oxidized bore. The barrel is a relatively even blend of original blue and plum-brown patina with the finish strong toward the muzzle with overall minor pinprick pitting and spots of wear and light handling marks. The remaining metal surfaces have aged to a dark gray patina also showing some small spots of corosion,  and overall light oxidation staining. The upper tang is stamped “C.F. LINDBERG”, and the left side of the breech bears a “5”. The European hardwood stock and forend rate very good plus with some custom checkering on each side of the wrist flanked by palm-style foliate embellishments carved-in- relief along with overall light handling marks from the years. The barrel is sighted with a brass blade with a base marked “CLE” and a folding leaf and semi-buckhorn rear, the cleaning rod is intact and the action appears to function well mechanicaly, And overall a very interesting foreign contract Remington Rollong Block.When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith  before  shooting.
