This one is S/N 1831769 and has an Underwood long skirted barrel dated 9-43. The receiver and barrel have their original finish and appear to be factory matched. The muzzle measurement is less than 1.5.
All parts on this carbine are correct for S'G' in the period that it was produced, including:
*Stock: Oval High Wood coded RSG in the sling well and S'G' (sideways in a box) and an ordnance wheel
*Recoil Plate: coded W-S'G'
*Bolt : S'G' including firing pin and extractor, and type 1 ejector
*Flip Sight : coded B-S'G', (USGI)
*Slide : coded S'G'
*Barrel Band : 3 weld with swivel coded KV-S'G'
*Front Sight: Milled, coded N
*Trigger Housing: Type 3 coded S'G'
*Hammer: Type II-A (Fatboy) coded S'G'
