IBM M1 CARBINE - 1st BLOCK PRODUCTION

Description:
Here's another M1 Carbine from my collection. This is IBM M1 Carbine Serial 3823003 in Early Configuration with All IBM parts except for an Underwood Flat Bolt, possibly lateral support. IBM marked parts are as follows: Barrel, Flip rear sight, Narrow Barrel Band, Push Safety, Slide, T2A Mag Catch, PO-B front sight. The barrel bore is bright and shiny. The stock is a Rare Birch Highwood marked SC-B in the sling well and has the small Ordnance Cross Cannon Cartouche on the right. There is a stable crack in the butt plate area. The Trigger Housing Group has all correct IBM parts. The BE-B marked Trigger Housing shows its original copper colored brazing, evidence that it has not been refinished. This IBM M1 Carbine would make a fine addition to any collection.
