French Model 1853 (Carbine á Tige) (AL4650)

Description:

French Model 1853 (Carbine á Tige). Transformed from a percussion to cartridge by Snider Type breech. Barrel length 42¼”. 4-Groove bore. Overall length 49¼”. Bore is perfect. Lock is marked “Mfre Impale de Tulle”. Action works perfectly. Folding rear sight graduated to 1100 meters. Bore is .70 caliber. No abuse, no chips or cracks overall shows mostly storage wear. Very good overall.
