SN: F4613. Made by Manufacture d'armes de Saint-Etienne in 1892 with an 18-inch barrel chambered for the 8x50mmR Lebel rifle cartridge. This unmodified, 3-shot Berthier 1892 Carbine is in very good condition with original finish on metal parts with an even aged patina, & wood that presents surprisingly light handling wear considering the fact that it survived the First World War. Comes with original clearing rod & 20.25-inch Model 1892 sword bayonet with metal scabbard. Consignment.
