Model 1867 Danish/Remington Rolling Block Rifle

Description:

This is a very nice condition rolling block rifle made by the Danish Arms Maker Kjobhnhavn and has 1881 manufacture date stamped on the upper tang. This is serial number 60393 is matching with very good crisp and tight mechanical function and a very good bright and shiny bore. The wood is very good except for a few minor bumps and dings. This rifle will fire the 45-70 cartridge if loaded with lead bullets safely but it is not recommended to shoot modern jacketed 45-70 ammo which may cause safety issue problems.
