Original Antique Argentine Model 1879 Cavalry Carbine in 43 Spanish center fire. 20.5 inch barrel with blade front sight and single leaf rear sight. Remington tang address 1864-1870's patent dates. The wood stocks has numerous dents, dings, chips and a repair, showing much use. The large military action works fine and the clean bore shows good rifling with scattered light pitting.
