Springfield Model 1873 45-70 caliber
Description: The Springfield Model 1873 was the first standard-issue breech-loading rifleadopted by the United States Army. This one shos by serial number to have been made in 1874. Likely this rifle was issued to the 9th Infantry Regiment, B Company, and was stamped weapon number 304. Chamber looks good. Rifling looks good. No signs of any corrosion. The rifle has not been test fired. The action does function properly chambering and ejecting. Please check out the pictures. Considering the age of this rifle it's in nice condition.
