been sporterized for hunting purposes. Very good job. Antique Krags are pretty scarce. The 30-40 Krag is a flatter shooting cartridge than 30-30. Make a great open sight deer rifle
and the elevation sight is pretty spot on for this cartridge. They did their homework. Front sight has a brass blade which helps to find it easily in the sight groove.
This ships straight to your door as long as you don't live in a Communist country like Kalifornia
