"British Breech loading Snider rifle Untouched condition .577 (AL5660)

Description:
"NSN, circa 1870’s, .577 snider, 36 ¼" round barrel. Bore is dark with pitting noted in the grooves, traces of rifling visible. Metal and stock are in an untouched condition with oxidation noted. Lock plate is marked “1862/ENFIELD", stock has expected nicks, dings and scratches visible with a crack coming from the left side of the receiver to the upper lock plate screw. Cleaning rod is missing, Action does mechanically function correctly.
