"Post-WWI Lithgow SHT.LE III Rifle – .303 British (L2025-08211)
Description: "Serial No. 31304, manufactured in 1919 at Lithgow Small Arms Factory, .303 British, 25" round barrel. Bore is good with strong rifling visible. Serial numbers are matching, including the magazine. Top of the receiver is marked “2ND M.D. / 71816", indicating issue to the 2nd Military District (New South Wales) with rack number 71816. This rifle likely saw continued service into World War II. Stock shows expected handling marks; the stock disc has been removed. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Includes an original 1907 Pattern Wilkinson bayonet with scabbard, both in very good condition.
