Description:
Serial #A29283, .303 British, 25" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a post-Korean War, "UF 55"-coded, Fazakerly-made rifle that retains 90-92% of the original black Suncorite finish that has flaked along some of the high edges and projections, bearing surfaces of the matching bolt, and on the top of the receiver ring where "PARKER-HALE (LTD.) / (BIRMI)NGHAM" was stamped into the metal. A Parker-Hale Model 5C adjustable rear sight is fitted, complete with adjustable aperture disk and rubber eye shield. The matching number stock is in excellent condition and has only a few minor handling marks and blemishes scattered about. A Parker-Hale target swivel is fitted just ahead of the matching numbered magazine, and an unmarked brass identification plaque is fitted to the right side of the buttstock. This is a splendid No. 4, modified for target use by Parker-Hale, and is in excellent condition. FFL or C&R
