This 1946 dated Jungle Carbine is in Excellent Condition. It retains period ENGLAND mark on left side of wrist. Bolt serial numbers match, the sights are original and intact. Stock serial number matches gun. Barrel has stamping on it showing English proofing for pounds per square inch testing. This carbine comes with a shortened 5 round magazine which is flush with the stock and shows a MADE IN ENGLAND stamp on it. Standard Enfield magazines do fit it as well. This is a very respectable example of a highly desirable British Military Carbine. .303 Savage
