NSN, manufactured circa 1875, chambered in .577/450 with a 33 ¼" round barrel marked “N-S/NEP," denoting Nepalese service. Metal surfaces exhibit a consistent brown patina throughout. The right side of the receiver is marked “L S.A. Co./1875" with a Crown over Broad Arrow and “MkII" designation.Stock has been lightly refurbished, with a small crack visible on the right side just forward of the receiver. Faint cartouches are present on the right side of the buttstock. Action functions correctly. A solid example of a Nepalese-used Martini-Henry MkII service rifle. (47671)
