Butt pad is metal case with rubber
Integrated flash hider
Dual peep aperture rear sight, Blade front
Receiver marked BSA 190s Sht LE I** LP
The Santa Fe Division of Golden State Arms was started by Ziebert and Brenner after the departure of Al Gettler and imported and sold military surplus rifles
Wood stock in very nice condition
Entire gun is in excellent condtion for it's age with a tremendous amount of orignal blue remaining
Bore is good
Tight action

The Lee-Enfield No. 5 rifle MK 1 was a shortened version of the Lee-Enfield No. 4 rifle, manufactured and used by the British. Because it was shortened for use in the jungle, it acquired the unofficial name "Jungle Carbine" from some of those who used them. Golden State Arms purchased a large volume of surplus British SMLE MK III's and Lee-Enfield No. 4 rifles
