"Ludwig & Loewe Gewehr 88 “Commission Rifle" – 8mm (52090)

Description:
"Serial No. 3002, manufactured in 1890, chambered in 8mm with a 29½" round barrel. The bore remains bright with light frosting in the grooves, and the rifling is strong. Serial numbers are non-matching, and the bolt bears a Turkish crest, indicating later service outside Imperial Germany. The stock shows expected handling and service wear and has had a light coat of varnish applied. Unit markings on the barrel band have been “X" out, consistent with later reissue or transfer. Overall presentation is honest and well-used. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
