The metal retains 85–90% of the original blued finish, showing light brown surface patina and honest service wear. The stock remains in very good condition, showing only light handling impressions, and the upper handguard bears the “DOT" marking. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Rifle includes an original wartime sling. This example is a representative mid- to late-war Brno-produced K98k.
