An exceptionally nice, all-matching K-43 German WWII battle rifle made by Berlin Lubecker, coded duv, in 1944 with G-43 marked magazine and correct sling.
Description:
This WWII K-43 rifle made by the Berlin-Lubecker (duv44) factory in 1944 with standard hooded front sight and tangent rear sight graduated 1-12. Earlier type barrel that is not fitted with a muzzle nut. It has the late war cast receiver with the dual bolt guides, the left side of the receiver marked "Eagle 214 Waffenamt/K43/duv 44/2124k". The bolt carrier is the late war version that has reinforcingdirectly behind the front edge. The cocking knob of this version is still on the left side with bolt hold open latch on the right side. The action cover is the late war stamped version with an electropenciled matching dust cover. This rifle still has the scope base on the right rear side of the receiver. It has an original laminated stock and handguard, the stock stamped with an acceptance Waffenamt "WaA214" on the pistol grip, and a much larger version of the same on the right side of the butt stock. Full serial number with letter suffix clearly stamped on the lower spine. Complete with one original WWII "G43" magazine coded "aye" with a single WaA 843 proofmark and correct original sling.
Condition:
Near excellent original blue finish with comparable condition laminated stock, well marked, that retains the vast majority of its original finish with just the usual oil darkening and scattered handling marks. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics. An exceptionally nice, all matching and all original K43 German battle rifle made by Berlin Lubecker in 1944!
