Mauser K98, 1941 Portuguese Contract, Cal. 8mm Mauser, WWII

Description:
1941 dated Portugese Contract Mauser K98 chembered in 8mm Mauser.  The gun, serial number F 12194, is numbers matching except for th butt-plate (stamped 2221 F) and the stock (could not find a number stamped, though there are a couple of Waffenamts on thre right side of the stock).  The bore is bright with sharp rifling and the action functions perfectly.  The stock is in very fine condition, does not appear to having been sanded or refinished, with minor handling marks/pressure dings/dents, and no cracks or major chips.  The sights are clean and the rear functions perfectly.  A very nice example of its type, with a good look about it.  Comes with a leather sling, which is in very good condition.     Gun is import stamped under the barrel.                                                CURIO & RELIC
