Rare G 43/ K 43 German WWII bring back rifle
Description: Sale Pending This rifle belongs to a gentleman that said his grandfather took this rifle off a dead German soldier on the Eastern front. There is no paperwork, but it sounds plausible. There are no import marks on the rifle that I can see. I am not really sure who manufactured it most likely Walther Arms. According to some research, only the G 43 rifles were threaded at the muzzle, this one is not. That leads me to believe it is a K 43. The marking on ther receiver has a K on it on the very right side, but the forward part of the receiver has it marked as G 43. Again, I am no expert and don't want to speculate. The pictures should be proof. The rifle is in combat condition. Part of it is the poor workmanship at the end of the war, no finishing of metal parts, etc, the other is that this rifle has seen substantial combat. There is minimal surface rust on a few parts, but nothing seems to be pittet. The barrel has strong lands and grooves, but is frosted, possibly micro pitted due to neglect. After all all ammo in those days was corrosive and soldiers were more interested in survival than cleaning. It is chambered in 8mm Mauser, or 7.92x57. comes with two 10 round magazines (Mags are rare and hard to find). The stock has parts on it that look repaired, even though the rifle itself does not seem to be refurbished. Overall it is a reare WWII relic that deserves a spot in someones collection. Any questions, pleas ask. I will try to find answers. A very nice rifle for the right collector. Shipping will be $75.00 to the lower 48. Please know your gun laws in your state, if it is not legal please don't purchase it. Shipping $75 in continental US, extra for Alaska and Hawaii. Please note that Texas is a state that requires to collect sales tax (8.25%) if you are a resident. I take Money order and Cashier's Check. 6% extra on credit cards.
