Scarce Collectible Nazi K43 AC44 Non-Import W/Spares Rare G43 Fans of Luger, K98, Nazi, WW2
Description: UP for your consideration is a stunning example of a late war German Nazi K43 also known as the G43 or Gewehr 43. The K designation was a later model used by Walther. AC represents the military secret code for Walther during WW2. This rifle is in excellent condition given its age, and the fact that G43's were inherently poorly built at the time. Metal finish on this example is very nice, rating between 85-90% with typical crude finish seen on these, but no capture markings or import marking are present. The 23in barrel shows light handling that often accompanies a gun that has seen wartime use, but front sight hood and cleaning rod are both in tact. They may be replacements but match the overall finish of the metal on the gun. The front sight post in in the white, but in very nice condition. Stock has been lightly sanded but original Matching serial numbers are still present on the heel and there are no signs of duffle cuts, or cracking anywhere on the wood furniture . Buttplate is very nice, with a slight patina but not corroded or pitted like many examples out there. The bolt, and bolt internals do not match the receiver but are all in excellent condition. All waffenamts are present and bold on the receiver, and on metal parts. Including serial numbers, code, and eagle over 359 stamps throughout. The rifle also comes with a scarce K43 marked magazine, with eagle over WAa843 stamp and aye manufacture code. Magazine is in excellent condition as well. Bore is tight with very nice rifling, with only a very small amount of fouling. Mechanically the rifle functions flawlessly, and included with the rifle are a plethora of wartime spec parts including bolt, springs, locking lugs, firing pin, and gas piston. This is a must have for any WW2 collection and would be equally at home at the range, or as an investment item. Don't wait, these rifles seldom come up for sale, and usually not in this condition. Collectors are holding on tight to these gems and the market is only getting drier on the supply of WW2 German rifles. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Rifle Caliber: 7.92x57mm Mauser |
