This Type 38 belongs with the Series "NONE" and for that reason has been ID'd as a Koishikawa Arsenal rifle. With a serial number of 908xxx out of some 2.03 million, this one would have been produced very early in the production run from 1906 thru 1935. It is in "used" state, as in used heavily. The stock appears to have been wetted and dried repeatedly as the wood is cracking. The Heel of the stock is appearing to be actually delaminated a bit. That being said, it will make a great addition to any war memorabilia collection as an early Type 38 rifle. 6.5x50mm

Triggers: Factory trigger.
