"Serial no. 2715. Manufactured circa 1962–1965 by Erma Werke (EFM), chambered in .30 Carbine,18"" unmarked barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. This carbine is assembled from leftover U.S.G.I. parts and is configured in a typical post-war pattern. The low wood stock remains in good condition, showing minimal handling impressions, with the sling well marked “I.W.P." Commercial carbines such as this were produced in the post-war period to meet civilian demand, often utilizing surplus military components.
