Although this carbine was built during the Second World War, its factory parts configuration was changed by a post-war rebuild. It is now equipped with a stamped adjustable rear sight assembly, a Type III bayonet lug barrel band, a flip safety & an M2 stock. Stock is in very good light handling marks visible, what makes this stock unique is the ""FAT69"" inspection cartouche visible on the left side. This is a U.S. made stock for the M2 carbine that was issued to the Italian military during the 1960's & that is why it was inspected by the Terni Arsenal in 1969.
