Description: An Interesting piece of WWII history: "The Rock-Ola Manufacturing Corporation was, along with Wurlitzer, a top maker of jukeboxes before it entered into WWII Carbine manufacturing. Approximately 228,500 total Carbines were made by Rock-Ola, about 3.7% of M1 Carbines made. The company, which originally made slot machines, scales and pinball machines, was founded in 1927 by Coin-Op pioneer David Cullen Rockola. Due to both the relative rarity of Rock-Ola carbines and the distinctive name, they are highly prized among collectors. Serial number (4,568,811) puts manufacturing in 1943 Markings: Rock Ola barrel, IO in sling well, , HI on rear sight, R on front sight and KI on barrel band "U" on Left side of Stock, Faded Camouche on Right side Will ship to C&R license holder with copy of license and Driver license or to an FFL dealer.
