Feb 1944 WWII Standard Products M1 Carbine with two vintage 15-rd Magazines, High Wood Stock, Reproduction Sling, Oiler and Mag Pouch
Description: WWII M1 Carbine manufactured by Standard Products in February 1944, serial #22272xx, in good to very good condition. It has a 2-44 Underwood barrel with a flaming bomb cartouche. The bore and rifling are good. The barrel is correct to Standard Products M1 carbines as Standard did not produce their own barrels and relied on other manufacturers such as Underwood to provide barrels. There is a small "PW Arms" import marking on the underside of the barrel. This carbine also comes with two vintage 15-round magazines (one A.1. marked and one UQ marked), reproduction mag pounch, sling and oiler. The stock is a mid-WWII Type II high wood straight belly version in good shape with normal wear and usage marks such as dings and scratches. There is one spot with adhesive residue from a white sticker on the underside of the stock by the front sling swivel. The stock has an oval-shaped oiler recess in the rear portion of the buttstock that doubles as the rear sling mount point. The handguard is the early two-rivet version. Other markings and characteristics include: Bolt: Early to mid-war flat bolt Sights: Type III "I.R. CO. 7160060" stamped adjustable rear sight, Type I "Z" marked front sight Magazine Release: Type III short plain face magazine release Other: WWII Type I narrow barrel band (no bayonet lug) and post-war Type IV "H.T." marked rotary style safety SHIPPING: Shipping is $68 (USPS Priority Mail only, Signature Required, Insured) within contiguous U.S. 48 states.
