IBM Corp US M1 Carbine .30 CAL 1943 Rare A.C.C. Bayonet and Scabbard
Description: Up for sale is a rare IBM manufactured m1 carbine chambered in .30 caliber. Ibm was a type writer company that switched over and made a handful of rifles during the war. This rifle comes with 3 magazines one in the rifle and two in the side saddle pouch on the stock. Overall this rifle is in great shape with little wear. Overall the most obvious wear on this rifle is the latch on the bolt is beat up probably due to use during the war being thrown around. This part sticks out from the main rifle and would be the first to hit any item. Also on the stock on the top by the reciever tang screw there is a small chip away crack. It does not feel loose or moves at all. I am unsure how deep the crack goes. It appears to be just a small piece right on top. This rifle also comes with an ACC bayonet. Stamped A.C.C. U.S.M.4 with the flaming bomb ordance stamp. Not many of these bayonets were stamped ACC as they was commonly mistaken for american cutlery company when the actual company is Aerial Cutlery Company. This was their first design then later went to stamping their blades with Aerial. the bayonet is in great shape for its age. The handle shows a little wear and the blade itself has been sharpened a time or two. Please review the photos carefully. For any further questions or conerns feel free to contact us.
