Description: This Gun appears to be some type of SPECIAL ISSUE; Has Receiver by AUTO ORDINANCE (marked AO) , Made Jan 1944 , Barrel date obscurered , has double Dove Tail as well as pinning for Front Sigjt == Bore pristine == Stock by IBM, with USMC stampings == This gun came to me parted out in a basket , covered with crud. Metal soaked , cleaned and assembled == No import markings visible == Mechanically Sound == Wood was scraped and treated with linseed oil.
