Inland M1A Paratrtrooper Carbine, Cal. .30, Ser. 1031XX. Dated Inland barrel dated 12-42
Description: Inland M1A1 Paratrtrooper Carbine, Cal. .30, Ser. 1031XX. Dated Inland barrel dated 2-42. Well you really can't get much earlier than that. And all original. Starting with the receiver. All parkerized parts have retained at least 95+% of the original Parkerizing. There is the very slightest sharp edge silvering and a small slide rub mar on thon of the rails. The first type flat bolt and that is 98-99%. The push button magazine release and flip rear sight are also the first type. The very dark wooden stock and hand guard are really great except for a few dings on the top of the hand guard and the usual dent on the left side from the butt plate. The lower is also the first type high wood as is early two rivet hand guard. The front barrel band is also the first type. The flash hider is of a much later vintage and is easily removable. This carbine has not been up graded in anyway. The rear of the stock has the "P" proof stamped and the pistol grip base has the remnants of the correct I-O stamp. The stock assembly is all correct. The leather cheek piece is worn from age and use and while it is intact, has never been replaced so the top and bottom edge are frayed from years of handling. The rivets are the correct early flat type. The butt plate has the correct parts number and the the "Daisy" embossed on it. The bolt face, guide rails and the feed ramp do not appears to have seen heavy use. The bore is very bright with sharp rifling and just a touch of some lightly scattered frost. It comes with the original oiler and canvas sling and an original U.S. flash hider. This is a totally original first model M1A1 carbine. A great investment, a centerpiece for the collection and a head turner at the range, We also guarantee your satisfaction...SHIPPED....$3595.
