1st block production Irwin Pedersen M1 Carbine. The rarest and most desired manufacturer of WW2 carbines. Irwin Pedersen produced and completed less than 4,000 rifles, which is less than 1/10th of 1 percent of total M1 production. Type II recoil plate marked "W-P" on bottom of tang. Type I rear sight marked "B-IP" on right side and "S" on the left side. Underwood barrel dated 8-43. These barrels were marked "P" approx. 6 1/2" from the muzzle. Milled front sight Marked "N" behind the sight blade. Type I deep groove hand guard marked "RMC". IP butt plate marked "PM-IP" This example is still in great shape and comes with sling, oiler, mag pouch, and two magazines. A must for any collector of rare firearms. .30 Carbine
