According to Larson's reference book, this would be an example of a rather rare NPM early to late Spring of 1944 production. Of note is the type II barrel band and the adjustable rear sight. ( I have included a couple of pictures from the book.) This rifle is in excellent condition and ,I believe , retains the original parts as when it was issued. (I have included a photo of a a sheet showing the parts markings ). The bore is bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves. Barrel erosion is 1.75 by my measurements. The I cut stock retains a strong NPM / FJ A cartouche. Non import rifle .Please see the pictures and the parts list....they tell the story the best.
