Quality Hardware M1 Carbine - Totally Correct Parts

Description:
      I am not exaggerating when I say this is one of the nicest looking stocks I have ever owned.  The stock and hand guard are both a matching medium color.  The Type 2 HIGH WOOD STOCK;  is stamped Q-RMC inside a rectangular box inside the sling well.  The correct Quality Hardware Cross Cannon Cartouche is stamped on the right butt stock.  There is no damage or cracks in the stock, even in the usual tang and escutcheon area.  The matching hand guard is a Type 2 deep grooved two rivet with RMC stamped on the underside edge.   
    But  the stock isn't all that is great.  The metal looks good throughout with most of it matching closely to the adjacent components. No barrel wear evidence of a bayonet lugged barrel band being installed.  The muzzle crown is original and not scarred or dented.  The following is a list of parts I.D. stampings and the parts stamped as such :

Q-NL - Safety (inside), Trigger Housing          B-Q - Rear Sight Leaf          S - Rear Sight (Left Side)         All other parts were identified by measurement, thorough description, or photograph by using the book "Comprehensive Guide  M1 Carbine" by Roger Larson.  With 829 pages and over 4,000 high quality photographs with descriptions I find this book to be a consistent and authoritative source for validation to assure the correctness of the M1 Carbines I restore. 
     I do a complete survey of each rifle I restore and sell by completely disassembling the trigger assembly, bolt assembly, operating slide components, and all but one stock part.  I do not remove the escutcheon to avoid cracking the stock around it.  I do not remove the barrel.  I only remove the rear sight to replace or repair it.  I remove the front sight only to replace it or the barrel band.  Any parts I do replace are replaced with only USGI M1 Carbine WWII original parts.  I use only three suppliers of these parts because I can trust what they sell is authentic and in top condition. I have two different forms I use to document the data I gather and to cross check my work.  If you are further interested in purchasing this rifle I usually have over 100 pictures available to email to you along with copies of the data sheets.  THANKS FOR LOOKING !
