Description: Quality Hardware & Machine Co. 30 M1 Carbine (serial #4656668). 1943 production Quality Hardware & Machine Co. marked receiver with ''I.B.M. CORP'' marked barrel with bayonet lug, smooth pistol grip wood stock with metal butt plate. 30 round magazine. Measures overall 35 inches with 18 inch barrel. Condition: Fine. Retains much of the period Parkerized finish with little thinning, wear, and loss; mostly along high edges and contact points. Markings in metal remain clear. Stock lightly sanded with legible markings, with the wood showing light handling marks. Mechanically functional, fine, bright bore retains crisp rifling. A very presentable example of a scarce M1 Carbine variant.Very good condition, 95% or better finish, stock with no dings or cracks. Buttplate included and intact.
