S'G' Saginaw M1 Carbine

Description:
S'G' Saginaw General Motors Division M1 Carbine produced by the Grand Rapids, Michigan Factory.  This division of General Motors was the Saginaw Steering Gear plant which began producing M1 Carbines in April 1943.  This plant was given the responsibility of producing the Irwin Pederson M1 Carbine starting April 1st, 1943.  Irwin Pederson had failed ot meet the standards of the Ordnance Department and having their contracts cancelled on March 27, 1943. There were no Irwin Pederson M1 Carbines that were approved by the U.S. Government for use by the military; only those that were produced by the Saginaw S"G' plant.  Total combined production of Irwin Pederson and Saginaw S'G' M1 Carbines was 223,620, making them fewwest of all the M1 Carbine manufacturers. 
The rifle I am selling here is as pristine condition that you will find any M1 Carbine.  I have disassembled every part to insure that function, integrity, and authenticity are as they should be.  The Saginaw S'G' M1 Carbine had several unique markings and identifiers which I are as follows; #1 - Both sides of the type three trigger housings near the rear were drilled with a complete hole, dimpled hole, or no hole to aid in assembly or piloting of machining.  #2 - The receiver used a rounded ear rear lug to aid in assembly as well.  #3 - The trigger used a unique ridge on the left side and fixturing notch on the back side.  #4 - Unique identification stamping on the edge of the butt plate. 
The rifle I am selling is 100 % correct for all parts based on the serial number, date of manufacture, production block, and parts type.

Included in the rifle package is an Original Olive Drab Sling with C-Tips, Oiler stamped IS, Dual 15 Round Butt Stock Magazine Pouch, Two 15 Round rifle correct S'G' Magazines, and a quality reproduction M1 Carbine Carry Case. 
Although fully functional, this rifle is being sold with no expressed or implied warranties.  The sale will be in accordance with all state and federal firearns sales and shipping regulations.  Accepted method of payment can be valid personal check or USPS Money Orders.  Shipping cost to be payed by buyer to any of the 48 contiguous United States.  Shipping insurance is an option at buyers cost.  This rifle qualifies to be a Curio and Relic firearm.
