Saginaw S.G M1 type III Carbine, 1944

Description:
Saginaw S.G M1 type III Carbine, chambered in .30 carbine. This is a 1944 production carbine with a Underwood barrel, stamp of 1-44 . The stock has a OI stamp as well as a Stand Products, a faint circle P stamp on the grip cap area and the cross cannons stamp. The stock looks to have been reshaped a little around the wrist area. The metal is in very good condition, making it a very serviceable weapon.
