Saginaw (SG) M1 Carbine 1943

Description:
Saginaw Steering Gear (Saginaw Michigan Plant) M1 Carbine manufactured in September, 1943.

Receiver Serial number: SG 3319847.

Barrel Stamped SAGINAW SGJV GENERAL MOTORS. No Date on barrel.

This appears to be the original barrel, receiver, bolt and stock. It is in very good
condition overall. Bore is in excellent condition. Saginaw barrel is correct for that
receiver and manufacture date. Rock Ola stock (marked RMC) is also correct for
September, 1943 Saginaw manufacture. Stock has not been varnished. Only many
coats of BLO.

There is no import marking that I can see anywhere on the gun. I have fired
approximately 50 rounds myself to check function.
