It has an 18-inch barrel. A blade front sight with protective sides and a flip aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth hardwood pistol grip. The forearm is a smooth grip two-piece hardwood. Serial Number 2638730. The barrel is stamped "UNDERWOOD 8-43". This WWII Era lightweight short, barreled battle rifle was issued to paratroops, equipment drivers and officers in battle theaters around the globe. Includes 1 Magazine. .30 Carbine
