Surplus Winchester M1 Carbine chambered in 30 Carbine. The top of the receiver is marked "U.S. CARBINE / CAL. 30 M1" on the front and "WINCHESTER / 1212889" on the rear. The barrel is marked "W" with an importer stamp "C.A.I. GEORGIA VT". Other features include a Type III magazine release is marked "M" on the face, hammer is marked "WU", Trigger guard is marked "9" on the left side rear, Type IV rotary safety, flat bolt marked "W", Type 3 Quality Hardware barrel band "MMQ", bayonet lug is marked "EM-Q" on the bottom side, front sight is marked "N", unmarked 4 rivet upper hand guard. The Type II rear sight is marked "H in a shield". The walnut stock is marked on the left side "STANDARD / PRODUCTS / RWH and comes with a reproduction sling and an oiler. Comes with one "IU" marked 15 round magazine. Serial 12112889. .30 Carbine
