"WWII U.S. Springfield M1 Garand .30-06 (L2025-11425)

Description:
"Serial No. 3683919, manufactured March–April 1945. Chambered in .30-06 with a 24"" round barrel marked “1 S.A. 3-45." Bolt is marked “D28287-19SA/D14A," and heat lot is marked “O81A/D28291 35." Receiver is rebuild-stamped “SA/12-65," indicating a late post-war arsenal overhaul. Op-rod is uncut and marked “D35382 9 SA." Trigger housing “D28290-14-SA," hammer “C46008-5 SA." Rear sight is the late war Type III lock bar with rounded ends. Stock is in very good condition with light wear, featuring the “S.A./SHM" rebuild cartouche with Ordnance wheel and circled “P" on the wrist. Rifle includes a period green canvas sling. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A representative example of a late-war Springfield Garand with post-war rebuild markings.
