CMP Expert Grade M1 Garand Springfield Armory .30-06 CBI Barrel 2022

Description:
Springfield Armory M1 Garand, .30-06. Serial number 2229132 dates to December 1943. This M1 was originally sold through the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) as an Expert Grade in 2022. CMP blue hang tag and certificate of authenticity included. 


The rifle has all military parts other than (new) CBI barrel and CMP stock. All metal parts except the new barrel have been refinished. Overall condition is excellent, no import marks.


A very nice finish was applied to the new CMP walnut stock and handguards, which come unfinished. We have added a reproduction sling. Also included is a manual, and two M1 clips (no ammo).

The gun has not been fired since it was received from the CMP. Bench test of timing and op rod function is excellent. We will lubricate and test fire the rifle if the buyer wants this done.

The M1 will ship in a CMP molded case.
