Serial number "4536XX" and in it's original parkerized finish now fading but crisp stampings, barrel threads and edges. Drawing markings on receiver leg "D 28291-14 S A" along with crips heat treat stamps. Aftermarket parkerized new barrel already properly grooved and drilled for Garand rebuild having mint unused bore and stamped "30-06" on top 4" from receiver. All original cuts, slots and grooves for parts on action are sound and edges crisp so should make a nice platform for early war rebuild.
