HRA M1 Garand with LMR barrel. Serial number 5582157, dates to 1955. LMR barrel is dated February 1955, and has a very good bore. No import marks.
This M1 is in excellent used condition. Parts are of mixed manufacture, all are described below and shown in photos. All metal parts have been refinished. Stock is new walnut.
The gun has been disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and test fired. Parts were clean for photos, coated with oil and greased where appropriate when reassembled.
Included: two M1 enbloc clips (no ammo) and new repro sling.

Receiver: marked “6528291” on leg. Also hand engraved “TE 8-65” on leg, indicating rebuild at Toole Army Depot.
Barrel: marked “LMR D6535448 2 55 A40” in op rod slot, punch mark. Chrome pads at gas port. Bore is bright, good crown and rifling. Likely to be the original barrel, as 8-10% of HRA production had LMR barrels.

HRA M1 Garand with LMR barrel. Serial number 5582157, dates to 1955. LMR barrel is dated February 1955, and has a very good bore. No import marks.
This M1 is in excellent used condition. Parts are of mixed manufacture, all are described below and shown in photos. All metal parts have been refinished. Stock is new walnut.
The gun has been disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and test fired. Parts were clean for photos, coated with oil and greased where appropriate when reassembled.
Included: two M1 enbloc clips (no ammo) and new repro sling.
SPECS:
Receiver: marked “6528291” on leg. Also hand engraved “TE 8-65” on leg, indicating rebuild at Toole Army Depot.
Barrel: marked “LMR D6535448 2 55 A40” in op rod slot, punch mark. Chrome pads at gas port. Bore is bright, good crown and rifling. Likely to be the original barrel, as 8-10% of HRA production had LMR barrels.
Lower band: two piece flat top with roll pin

Clip latch: WWII round front type, unmarked
Op rod: flat side, marked “6535382 HRA.”
Op rod catch: HRA/SA/IHC type, unmarked
Bullet guide: stamped without notch, unmarked
Follower: late type, marked “8”
Follower arm: no bevel, unmarked
Follower rod: long fork, riveted, unmarked
Bolt: marked “D28287-19SA A-9”
Elevation knob: marked “SSH”
Windage knob: marked “DRC”
Rear sight base: late SA/HRA type, unmarked
Rear sight aperture: SA/HRA type, double track
Trigger housing: marked “6528290-HRA N”. Small pad, cloverleaf hole, no pitting
Trigger guard: stamped with stamped hook
Trigger: late type, no extra hole
Hammer: marked “HRA 5546008”
Hammer spring plunger: postwar type, no wings
Safety: round top, marked “HRA”
Gas cylinder: wide sight platform, flat on top of rear ring. Gas cylinder group finish is excellent
Front sight: 0.65 wide, unmarked
Gas cylinder lock: WWII bevel front type, unmarked
Gas cylinder lock screw: cross slot poppet valve type, marked “P” and hexagon
Stock and handguards: new, walnut, very nice finish, new metal
Sling: new repro

-Firearms ship insured to FFLs and require signatures for delivery. Items usually ship 1 to 2 business days after payment clears and FFL information is received.
-No Local Pickup. We are an internet only dealer and do not offer in store pickup.
RETURNS
-Used Firearms: 3 day inspection policy. Item may be returned if in same condition as when it left our facility. Returns are subject to a $35.00 restocking fee. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges (must include insurance and signature requirement) and any transfer fees.
-In the event of shipping damage please contact us for a return authorization number.
