Immaculate Springfield M1 Garand Original WW2
Description: Up for your consideration is an immaculate Springfield M1 Garand chambered in .30-06. This gun was manufactured in 1942. All parts are S.A marked including Bolt, Op Rod, Stock, Trigger Guard, Trigger Housing, Hammer, Barrel. The barrel is dated 8-46-SA meaning this could be a late war rebarrel before being sold to the civilian market. However All small parts and bolt are the correct batch numbers for the time period and all SA marked. Overall condition is immaculate with only a few minor imperfections in the stock, and some minor fading on the receiver, aside from that thing Garand is one of the best original examples we've seen, With very tight lockup, clean internals that are not worn, an immaculate bore with deep rifling and shiny walls, the photos speak for themselves. Stock features correct SA over SHM inspection directly to the left of the Crossed Cannons, these markings are extremely sharp, and the smaller squared S.A over R cartouche is also sharp and mint. The pistol grip has the expected P stamp which is also sharp, and the correct small crossed cannon on the cap of the grip. The Original 1943 marked sling is still on this gun, as well as the 1943 dated duffel bag. Seldom do you see a gun in this condition with a bore this new, and featuring all WW2 Parts.
