C&R eligible. I am a C&R holder. I can ship these directly to another C&R holder or to your FFL. All laws will be complied with. Please know your local and state laws. This is an ultra rare, all original, CMP documented pair of Springfield Armory M1C WWII sniper rifles. These have consecutive serial numbers. Serial number 3572405 & 3572406. CMP "certificate of Authenticity" for both guns is included and shown in photographs. These guns come with all original and nearly impossible to find, Griffin & Howe mounts, M84 telescopic sights, Hart M82 cone flash hiders and NOS scope carrying cases for storing your scopes and mounts when not mounted on the rifles. These rifles still have the CMP hang tags attached to the rifles. I have never removed them and never fired these rifles since I purchased them from the CMP. I am the one and only and original owner other than the US Government. The certificates have my name on them. Rifle #3572405 has a barrel stamp dated 12-52 which is when it would have been arsenal reworked for the Korean war. Rifle #3572406 has a barrel stamp dated 9-51. Again probably in preparation for the Korean war. The M84 scopes have serial numbers 32261 and 10523. The original G&H mounts are serialized with numbers 3487183 and 3351510. For those of you who know what it takes to find and build these guns correctly you will know that my asking price is fair. All of these components on these rifles are in good or very good condition. Especially for their age and originality. An M84 scope now sells for around $1500.00. A G&H mount is virtually impossible to find and sells for up to $2000.00. An M84 flash hider sells for $450-$500.00.
The rifles are in good overall condition with some finish wear and dings to the stocks. Both have the correct stock cartouche as shown in the photos. As I stated, I have NOT fired these rifles but they appear to function perfectly. It is my understanding that the CMP does test fire one round through each rifle prior to shipping so these rifles should be fully functional. I have no doubt at all that they work 100%.
