Description:
Here is a beautiful example of a WW2 M1 Garand produced by Springfield Armory in April of 1944 and subsequently rebuilt at Red River Army Depot in December of 1963. This rifle now sports a new production Criterion barrel ($300 value), type 2 lockbar battle rear sight, 6535362 SA operating rod, -19 SA bolt, and a mixture of WW2 and post war internal parts. The trigger housing is a -12 SA, hammer is a -3 SA, safety a -6 SA, and a very early forged trigger guard marked C 46025. The stock displays an RRAD cartouche on the left rear and a square P proof mark on the pistol grip. All wood is USGI and in good serviceable condition. This rifle will be a great shooter with many features of its original WW2 configuration and a Texas heritage to boot!!
