Springfield Armory M1 Garand 30.06 RRA Refinished 1954 dated with barrel of 3/54   Rock River Arsenal 

Post WWII and Korea U.S. military rifle. The barrel and serial number date this rifle 1954. The rifle has been arsenal refurbished. The details in on the data sheet in picture 3.   This is Rock River Arsenal refinished.   Overall this is an great looking rifle in very good condition.

The last serial number of the firearm/receiver is covered. The build date was researched from a Scott Duff publication. and other internet publications   We think it is late 1955 and the barrel date is 3/54

Please see the data sheet in the picture 3. I have no idea what any of it means. The estate provided the sheet for this rifle and also was kind enough to show me how to remove the trigger group, receiver and stock for the pictures.

This came from the estate of an FFL/SOT Gun Smith, Gun Store that is out of business.  We have five seperate estates we sell for.  This is just ONE of the five estates.  This estate was an avid collector of wartime firearms of all kinds.   This is from the collection or was inventory.   There will be countless other listings from this inventory over the next 4 to 5 years.   We are selling for the store. This is NOT a liquidation.  There are no lists and will be no lists.
